It is an amazing poem both for some beautiful language, vivid (= lively) images and its intellectual depth (= it’s deep). Before we start reading let’s just explain two things: 1. What’s an urn? An urn is a sort of vase. See picture.

I can not say the best as there are many books and many approaches to study. However for base reading which is enough for knowledge, clinical application and exams Sabiston's Textbook of Surgery and Bailey and Love are two books that are recommend.   But the real power of “Being Mortal” might come from the mere fact of Dr. Atul Gawande — a writer at The New Yorker, certified MacArthur Foundation “genius”, prize-winning and already best-selling author with , Twitter followers — having written it.. He has a bigger megaphone than most of his predecessors.

John Mayer has 79 books on Goodreads with ratings. John Mayer’s most popular book is Continuum: Music by John Mayer. The Surgeon is the first of Gerritsen's Jane Rizzoli books, and it's quite the compelling read. As detailed and gory as CSI would be if it weren't on network television, it's also full of vivid characters and an intriguing serial killer who will test Rizzoli and her compatriots to the bitter end.

'The Surgeon' is one of the best medical crime thrillers I have read; a gripping plot, credible characters and atmospheric writing that delivers non-stop tension and suspense. It has great characterisation, particularly so for Detective Thomas Moore of the Boston Homicide Unit and Dr Catherine Cordell, the target of the killer referred to by /5(K).

Book spine poetry has a bonus secret superpower. It pushes students to spend a lot of time meeting new, exciting books, perhaps outside of the genres and series they typically read.

A student might even be tempted to crack one of those juicy book spines and read the book he discovered while crafting his poem. It’s also a helpful way to give.
